Our day by-the-numbers. We left home at 9:08 a.m.
Day 87° Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds around 5 mph becoming east this afternoon.
Night 60° Clear. Lows around 60. East winds around 5 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
The first stop of the day was at H.E.B. gasoline.i didn’t fill up because Walmart is cheaper and I’m sure I’ll be there sometime soon. However they have a carwash that Walmart does not. 9:15-9:30
At Cross Tracks Church for Grandies and my abortive attempt at a virtual Santa meeting.
I could get to the Zoom website but was unable to connect to the meeting. To test the signal strength and was able to see videos on both Facebook and YouTube. So the signal wasn’t the problem. 9:42a.m.-1:31p.m.
A one block drive to the Liberty Hill City Hall to sign Over The Hill Gang’s rental contract with the city. 1:34-1:42
I went to Golden Chick to order chicken for tomorrow’s lunch at Over The Hill Gang. It took a little longer t than expected because they wanted a copy of our tax exempt form. We previously had given them a copy to keep on file. However, that was sent to their home office. We will need to bring a copy each time. WTH? Fortunately I have a copy on my phone that I was able to send, attached to a text message, to the managers phone. 1:45-2:04
From City Hall I drove around the corner to Parker’s Corner Market and purchased milk and cabbages for OTHG’ Thursday lunch. 2:08-2:16
Then I walked across the drive to the Over The Hill Gang building to put groceries in the refrigerator. I thought about making the ice teas for tomorrow but Ella chose to wait in the car so I didn’t want to take the time. 2:17-2:21
Jardin Corona is Ella’s favorite Mexican restaurant so we went for combined lunch and supper. And I’m serious about lunch and supper. If we are eating at this time of day, it’ll be our last meal today. 2:25-3:05.
It is very good food at responsible prices. And “No” I’m not sponsored by them. But if they’d like to throw some money at me, I wouldn’t duck out of the way 😁
We arrived home at 3:24 and will remain here until sometime around 8 tomorrow morning, I hope. And then it starts all over again.
