The coffee group at the apartments debated renaming the gathering because people weren’t coming, supposedly because they don’t drink coffee. I suggested “Gossip Group -be there or be the subject.”
They didn’t choose it. As a matter of fact, they never chose anything
As you can see, we received a lot of food. That included some nopales
(cactus paddles). Now I just need to learn how to fix them. Well there’s always YouTube.
Ella wanted to go to the beauty parlor inside Walmart for a trim. I dropped her at the door and found a shady spot in which to park and wait. I had just got settled in when she called to say she was done. “Her” hairdresser wasn’t there anymore and they were closing for the day. Now she will be on the lookout for someone she trusts to cut her curly hair.
We drove through Walgreens to pick up the remainder of her prescriptions that were not ready yesterday. This constant, nearly daily, driving to pick up meds is why I went to mail-order for my meds. I just need to convince Ella to do the same.
Ella went to the community room and played Mexican Train dominoes this evening. I did not. I took a nap.
