Radiology for my turn.
I had a full-body bone scan today. Unlike this poor guy below, they didn’t insert a steel rod up my backside.
After the dye was inserted we were free to leave. To be back at 2:50 for the scan
What Is It? soup. Chicken, carrot, cactus, and cheese. I pureed the carrots, cubed the chicken and the nopales, and lightly seasoned before adding shredded cheddar. Twern’t half bad. Maybe with some corn and blackbeans it could become tortilla soup.
Here I am back again just waiting for the scan to begin. Thirteen miles to get her this morning, thirteen miles back home, thirteen miles back this afternoon, and thirteen miles home again.
Well, the last thirteen included a few minutes stop over at Dairy Queen. Hey, it didn’t add any extra miles … it was on the way … really!
We missed choir practice tonight. Completely forgot about it. It has been a strange strange day.
