Today was my first visit to the radiology oncologist. I will begin a hormone regimen to reduce the prostate. This will reduce or eliminate my testosterone level. The side effect will be that I go through menopause (hot flashes, mood swings, non existent sex drive, et cetera). The radiation portion should have very little side effects other than soreness when I pee or poop.
We were at the oncologist from about 10:30 to 12:30.
Game Day for the 50+ at Leander UMC was from 1 to 3 so we headed that direction. We drove through Whataburger on the way. Games were already in progress when we arrived. We played a couple games of Yahtzee and then left for home.
The Halloween party at the apartments had just begun when we arrived. We had some pizza, soft drinks, and candy then went to our apartment.
I took a nap while Ella spent 75 minutes on the phone rescheduling an MRI of her breasts. This time approved by the insurance.
