2022 November 27

Day        63°     Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.
Night     44°     Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. North winds around 5 mph.

I would have rathered stayed in bed than get up this morning. But I knew I couldn’t. It is Sunday and Sunday is Sunday school and worship. Two too important things to miss. I quickly poached scrambled eggs and wrapped them in tortillas with nacho cheese. One stayed wrapped and I gave it to Ella. The other I ate with knife and fork.

Today’s Sermon
First Sunday of Advent

Our travels to us to church and back home.

We had Old Bay style Clam chowder for lunch. I liked it a lot but it was too spicy for Ella’s taste – though she finished her bowl.

We hung some Christmas lights on our patio today

I slept off and on most of the day. I have to kick this cold. It’s not a good look for Santa. Next Saturday Mr and Mrs Claus will be at the Liberty Hill library. Next Sunday morning I will will be working with special needs folks nine to noon. And that evening Mr and Mrs Claus will be at a Christmas party for employees of Austin heart hospital.

Goodnight and God bless
