I was awake before the alarm went off at 5:30AM. Then drove into Austin for a PET scan. Only got lost twice.
In the above photo it is 7:10 and I’m sitting with a line in my arm awaiting the radioactive injection.
6:53 and I’m checked in
7:09 Line in my arm already. Just waiting arrival of radioactive stuff to do the actual injection.
7:25 and I’m now radioactive. Have to wait 50 minutes before the scan which takes about half an hour.
8:50 and done
9:30 stopped at McDonald’s for breakfast
9:52 arrived at Lakeline Mall
10:16 and I’m dressed and ready for 11:00
I worked 11 -5, took the toll road and was home by 5:30. Hurriedly ate and was on the way to choir practice by 6:10. We arrived home after choir by 8:30.
