We had Mari Calendar chicken pot pies for lunch. Though I prefer them baked in an oven, I took the short cut off fixing them in the microwave. Though the crust doesn’t become as crisp in the microwave they were still good. the apartments we had coffee with friends this morning
Ella brought up the movie 2001 and said it seemed so far in the past. The movie was released in 1968. In 1968, 2001 was 33 years in the future. 2001 is soon to be 22 years in the past and we haven’t accomplished the level of civilian travel to the hotel-like space station or colonizing the moon.

I wanted to add another drawer to my bedside chest of drawers. I really need a miscellaneous drawer – a.k.a. junk drawer. They are Sterilite plastic stacking drawers. I thought I’d buy a two drawer set and add one to my side and one drawer to Ella’s set.
When I told my idea to Ella, she said she wanted a complete separate set for her side. Okay. So we ended up buying two four drawer sets. I’ve added two drawers to my stack and two drawers to a third set in the bedroom and Ella has four more drawers for …?
The last day of the year was fantastic. Though it is winter, it felt like a nice Spring day. It topped out at 74°and breezy. I could take today repeated without end and not be ad nauseam.
