THIS is the day to pick up items for Operation Liberty Hill. And also aluminum cans for recycle . We now have enough cans to make a trip to the recycler worth while.
THERE are three full bags of crushed cans still in the car. We are crushing these additional nine bags of cans so that we can save space in the car for a passenger.
IF we can accomplish this goal, we will re load the car with crushed cans before going to the Over The Hill Gang board meeting tomorrow morning. We need space to pick up Monica and take her to the meeting and then back home. We will them drive the cans to Jarrell for recycling. If we can’t make room for the cans and Monica. Then, after taking Monica home, we will need to return to our apartment and pick up the rest of the cans before going to Jarrell.
BY the way, Ella and I are taking turns with the crushing.
WE managed to crush all of those cans. We managed to get nine bags of cans crushed down to three. Add the three bags of crushed cans that we left in the car and the one bag of crushed cans that Ella and I already had on hand. We have a friend in Liberty Manor who has some cans also that hopefully we can pickup after taking Monica back home. Luckily they live in the same apartment complex.
