2023 January 11

MY morning load of medications,
vitamins, and minerals
BREAKFAST of toasted English muffin, hash brown potatoes, crisp bacon, large eggs.
Sandy, Ella and I were at Grandies. After our meeting we played 2 hands off canasta.

LUNCH of bologna sandwich, pork and beans, chicken noodle soup, and fruit salad.

HEATHER and Austin came and removed the couch from our apartment. It will be going to Arik and Jenny’s rental house where Sofia will be staying while in college. It really opened up the space.

I Took the car in for a quote on repairs so  it will pass inspection. It’ll cost just under $3,000. 1/3 of that is replacing a cracked catalytic converter and associated parts and labor. This was due to my running over a curb as I made a too wide of a turn at night. They’ve ordered parts. I’ll take it back in on Friday morning.

DAY Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
NIGHT Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly clear. Lied in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph beginning west after midnight. Gusts up to 25 mph.

Habakkuk 2:14 NRSV     But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
