I DIDN’T get our daily photo until we were ready for bed. Maybe “Better late than never” isn’t always true.
Day 69°. Mostly cloudy and breezy. Much cooler with highs in the mid 50s. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gas up to 35 mph.
Night 33°. Mostly clear. Cooler with Lowe’s in a lower 30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
DAY 3 of radiation treatment. Ella went with me today because I also had an appointment with doctor Garza after the treatment. I wanted Ella’s ears there to offset my own. Also I know she would ask me what he said when I got home, so this saved a step.
GARY giving us more of the history of Liberty Hill. This presentation took place before lunch. This man is a fount of knowledge and it flows deep and wide.

JANNETT getting everyone’s (almost) attention before making the announcements. We also had a brief plea for assistance with getting sponsors for the golf tournament to benefit Operation Liberty Hill.

IT was pizza day. Jannett and Charlie getting them set out on the serving table alongside salads and Jello.

IT is sad to report that this will be the last Thursday that Ella and I will be able to attend Over The Hill Gang until the end of April. The schedule for my treatments will soon switch to 12:10 every weekday and a short visit with the doctor every Thursday.
WE didn’t stay long after lunch because I was having some health issues not related to the treatments. Once I was home I also had a prolonged coughing fit that really irritated my throat.
I WAS supposed to call bingo tonight but my raw throat made for a very rough voice. Ella went in my stead.
IT took 59 minutes to get from home to the doctor’s and only 43 minutes to get from the doctors to Over The Hill. Time of day and direction of travel makes a big difference
