PRESIDENT’S DAY

DAY 5 of radiation therapy. So far no noticable side affects.

WALGREENS was my first destination after leaving the doctor’s. Ella had a prescription to pick up. Thankfully it went smoothly

FROM Walgreens I drove to Hill Country Community Ministries community cupboard. There I was able to get a loaf of bread, a red bell pepper, a rutabaga, a bag of chopped iceberg lettuce, and six tangerines.

ONCE home I found no parking spots near our apartment and ended parking around the west side of building six. When I got to our apartment at 10:25, Ella was just finishing up fixing breakfast.

Having not eaten since noon yesterday, I was ready to eat. I’m hopping that this intermittent fasting will help healthwise also.

Day 76°. Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Night 61°. Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lowe’s in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

JUST a quick sketch while sitting at the table.

THIS is a pie made from reconstituted dried cherries. It was less than I’d hoped for.

THIS evening we took the Fast Track game to the community room and played with friends
