ISOLATED pockets of reduced visibility this morning. Areas of fog have developed across the coastal plains and I-35 corridor this morning with isolated pockets of dense fog across these areas. Some locations could see visibilities fall between one quarter and one half of a mile over the next couple of hours. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow for extra following distance if you encounter reduced visibilities is this morning.
I SAW no fog at all this morning, patchy or otherwise.

I ARRIVED at 11:12 for an 11:30 appointment.

I GOT right in and was on my way by 11:35.

PRODUCE PICKUP AT AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE

I ARRIVED just as they were starting to deliver to the vehicles. And boy were there a lot of vehicles in line! They moved like a well oiled machine and I was loaded and on my way in twenty minutes.

BECAUSE it was afternoon, I hadn’t eaten since 4:30 yesterday, and I had more produce to pickup at 1:15, I went to Burger King for lunch.

PRODUCE PICKUP AT LEANDER CHURCH OF CHRIST

I ARRIVED at the Brighter Days Food Pantry at four minutes before one o’clock and got in line. They started bringing out food at one twenty-seven. And I was on my way home by 1:31.

OUR COMBINED INTAKE OF FOOD

FORTUNATELY the parking spot right in front of our patio door was available. That made it easy enough to set the boxes of food over the fence rather than carrying them around and through the lobby.

BIG box full of goodies to share in the apartments own food pantry. We never turn down the food offered. However, there is nearly always some that we either don’t need it don’t want. Those items go to the food bank cupboards, refrigerator, or freezer next to the community room. I carried the box and Ella came along to stock the shelves. I loaded the frozen carrots into the freezer and all of the onions into the ‘fridge.

Day 79°. Patchy fog this morning. Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Night 60°. Mostly cloudy and breezy. Lowe’s in the mid 60s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with guests up to 40 miles per hour. 40 mph that’s that’s a past breezy
TONIGHT Mexican Train dominoes was played in the community room. There were seven women already there. That means there was only room for one more player. I came home and Ella stayed to play. She enjoys it much more than I do. For most of them this is a chance to socialize while I view it as a contest. I find it upsetting when they get to talking and can’t remember who’s turn it is. I realize that our expectations and objectives differ. So, sometimes, it’s better if I don’t play.
