I CAME home from coffee and crushed two small bags of aluminum cans. We may be nearing a time to take them to the redemption center in Jerrall. We will see what we receive on the first Sunday in March.

Day 58°. Cloudy. High as in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Night 41°. Cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Not as cool with Lowe’s in the mid 50s. East winds around 5 mph.

THIS has been a quiet day. We went up for coffee about 10:00 and stayed there for I stayed there for about an hour Ella stayed longer.

I FIXED a meatloaf for lunch. This is actually the meatloaf that I had prepared several days ago before going in for treatment. But had never gone ahead and cooked it. Also made some crescent rolls from a package.

THE sky today has been overcast all day long and looking cold much colder than it actually is it’s in the low 60s at nearly 5:00 at night so it never really got cold it just looked cold. It’s days like this that, if I were back in Iowa I would be expecting snow tonight . It kind of has that feel to it. But I doubt we’ll be seeing any snow in Texas.

AS I said this is been a quiet day. Other than playing a couple of games, we really have done nothing much other than do some reading, games, and watching television on our phones.

I TOOK an unexpected nap. I was watching something on YouTube and I lost connection and while I was waiting for it to reconnect, I went to sleep. I don’t believe I slept very long.

AT the moment I’m sitting outside of Walmart waiting for Ella. We had four items on our shopping list. I was going to order them delivered but Ella wanted to come and get them. What that really means is she had an ulterior motive for coming to Walmart. So, knowing where everything was on our shopping list, I went down those aisles and picked up those items. I was ready to go. Ella said, “I want to go to the women’s wear.” So, I came out to the car to wait, because I have no idea how long that’s going to take and I have no interest in just hanging out in the women’s wear department. <Insert passage of time here> She found someone to talk to. It was only 45 minutes. I was happy enough waiting in the car.
