OUR adult Sunday school class is studying “The Lord’s Prayer the meaning and power of prayer Jesus taught.” We are using the book by Adam Hamilton. We’ve only just gotten started but we’ve had really good discussion so far.

“A Day That Honors”

YEP! The first Sunday of the month is when Grandies collects food for the food pantry as well as items for the thrift store. We also collect aluminum cans to sell to the metal recycler. Ella and I will deliver everything this week.
THE plan is to take the cans to Jarrell Texas on Monday, after my radiation treatment. I’ll stop by home where Ella will be waiting with something I can eat as I drive. Tuesday morning I’ll deliver the food and thrift items to Operation Liberty Hill before going for treatment.
So that covers my driving schedule for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday evening at church we will have a Family Friendly Last Supper (not quite a Seder). Thursday we pick up our monthly food allotment before both Ella and I going into Austin for my radiation treatment and doctor’s consult. That evening is Maundy Thursday service at 7p.m., Good Friday at 7p.m., and Resurrection Sunday Sunrise Service at 7a.m. followed by Sunday school and worship.

WITH all the traveling I’ll be doing this week, it seemed like a great idea to fill up with gasoline. With our Walmart Plus we save 10¢ a gallon at Murphy USA at Walmart. Since I was getting gas, Ella wanted to shop for an Easter dress. P. S. She bought a blouse instead

ONCE we were home, I fixed some flank steak, baked potato, brisket sprouts, and corn.
