Ella is in Iowa this week.
I’ve been left unsupervised.

MY calendar declares that today is National Dog Fighting Awareness Day. I did a Google search for “dog fights near me” . Now I think I’ve been added to some government watch list. 😜 It’s a joke. Calm down. It’s only a joke.

DAY 64°. Patchy fog this morning. Cloudy. Not as cool with highs in the upper 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

NIGHT 50°. Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the mid 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

OTHER than being awake five times during the night, I slept fairly well with four and a half hours of deep sleep. I even slept through a storm that took the power off line. I only know this because the microwave clock needed to be reset and all of the hallway doors had automatically shut.

THIS morning’s coffee went from 9a.m. to 11a.m. I went home for a breakfast break and then came back.

LUNCH time today. Ella told me that while she was gone I could have food that needs to be chewed. So I did.

I’M going to take some fried cabbage for tomorrow’s Easter dinner at my son’s. Today I shredded it in preparation.

THE rest of my day was spent in my little nest.
