Update from Ella at 8:15 a.m.

Good Morning. I’m with (son) John now. (Daughter-in-law) Dawn is home now but will leave to go back to the (5th wheel RV) trailer soon. She’ll spend the week down there (Summer home) to celebrate her birthday. She came back yesterday so she could go out to eat with us.

DAY 70°. Patchy fog this morning. Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning then partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

TODAY’S coffee group is still ragging on the same person who hasn’t been here at the apartments for a month or better. I’m really tired of the slanderous things said about her. It makes one wonder how they talk about us when we’re not here.

FOR lunch I made navy beans with bacon and paired it with some jalapenos cornbread from the food pantry. Later this afternoon I took my daily dose of Miralax. This may be an explosive evening.

I TEXTED Ella and asked what she was up to. I received the following picture in reply.

DOES that explain it to you? It didn’t answer my question in a way meaningful to me. So I texted, “The Aquarium Center?”

IN response I received, “His room in basement. It’s due to grow. The tanks not the basement.”

A RECURRING problem I have with following Ella’s communications is the complete lack of the use of proper nouns. The “he” in her sentence could be any of her family or friends in Iowa. Hell, for all I know she could be talking about the fish as”he”. It is a good thing I love her. And it’s a far better thing that she loves me
