TODAY was another beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the lower 70s. Since I had no one or nothing to which I needed to write home, I took a more leisurely drive home rather than going the freeway. Along the way I saw a Subway sandwich shop. I’ve been thinking about marinara meatball sandwich for the last few days. This seemed like a good day to stop and enjoy one. I changed my mind once I was inside and I tried the boss sandwich which was marinara meatball provolone cheese pepperoni and I had them add pickles on the Italian herb bread. It was good and I ate it slowly, savoring each bite.
NOT many at coffee this morning. Maybe others have become as discussed as I am about the “club of negativity” that our morning coffee has become.
