FINALLY, eight hours of sleep and
only awake twice in the night!
It’s good to have my bed buddy back.

Another beautiful Texas day;
“I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.”

SHE made a blackberry cobbler to take. Others brought meat dishes, starches (pastas & taters), vegetables, and of course more desserts. I was surprised by how small the crowd was. Less than twenty by my estimation.

THIS evening, beginning at six, was Karaoke night. This is a once a month event. I think we’ve only attended one in the past. I decided to attend with the idea of singing “I Can’t Help Falling In Love.” I’ve had this tune stuck in my mind for over a month. I’d find myself humming or whistling the tune without being conscious of it. I did sing it. Later I was called up to sing “Wolverton Mountain” I sort of remembered the tune but struggled through it. Later I did ” A Boy Named Sue” that one I nailed.
I LEFT before karaoke was over because I was just too tired. It was fun. Some singers were good and some were just brave.
