I MIXED up a breakfast casserole and put it in the fridge until we return from the doctor’s. Ella wasn’t sure if she needed to be fasting for the doctor. So I’ll cook the casserole later.

Ella’s 9:30 doctor’s appointment

WE arrived a few minutes before the appointment time and waited only a short time for the nurse to come and check Ella’s vitals. The doctor(?) or physicians assistant came in directly after that. This was a follow up on some medication changes from her last visit a month ago. The change appears to be beneficial. Ella asked about something to help her sleep. There will be a new prescription to purchase.

DAY 67°. Cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms with patchy drizzle this morning then a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%. NIGHT 63°.  Cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Some may be severe. Lows in the mid 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

SINCE we were in Liberty Hill for the doctor, we stopped in at Over The Hill Gang for Tuesday coffee and treats.

THE club board were gathered to do some work; cleaning, sorting, and rearranging. We visited for slightly over an hour. I sent photos from today and last Thursday to Jannett’s me email account. She can pay them on the club’s website. https://OverTheHillGangLHTX.com/

IT was about quarter to twelve when we arrived at home. I put the casserole into bake right away. As it was baking we received a call from our insurance man. Ella had set a two o’clock appointment with him. She wanted to shop for a different plan with better dental benefits. He called to see if he could come earlier. Yes. Yes he could. And he did.

HE came prepared with three possible plans. These were all for Ella’s approval. She found the one she liked and ordered it. Officially it is too late to make changes to Medicare plans. However, because Texas had some harsh weather in February and March, the deadline to make changes was extended for Texans. It still has to be approved but it should take affect inn May first. My insurance plan remains unchanged.

I HAD a bowl of canned chicken noodle soup for supper. It isn’t even close to the goodness of my homemade soups.

AT 5 Ella went to the community room to play Mexican Train. I stayed home sacked up the trash and waited for our grocery order to arrive. Once groceries arrived I got them all out away. There were only four items. Three more items will be shipped and arrive separately during this next week.

SEVERAL times today I continued to work on transcribing my blogs from 2010. I need to do many days of blogs per day because I don’t want to take thirteen years for the transcription.
