DAY 81°. Partly cloudy this morning then mostly sunny with 70% chance of showers and possibly severe thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 80s with south winds 15 to 20 mph.  NIGHT 53°. 90% chance of evening showers with possibly severe thunderstorms. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

FROM 3 to 4 the sky became progressively darker. Then the rain came and became heavier. By 4:30 there was hail mixed in. Just before 6 it had all moved to our Southeast.

GOING to sleep after 2:30 a.m. (remember that fire alarm) and only sleeping 3 hours and 36 minutes.  1 hour 27 minutes deep sleep and 2 hours and 9 minutes of lite, is not conducive for a healthy mind/healthy body.

Ella and I had planned to take a bus tour of the Liberty Hill schools this morning. However, the lack of sleep and diarrhea made me rethink that plan. Bouncing around the back of a school bus (with no toilet) for a couple of hours just seemed an unwarranted risk. I don’t want to lose my friends that way

ABOUT one o’clock in the afternoon I stayed out of bed long enough to put some food in the instapot. Then lay back down until it was done cooking.

AT three o’clock three was painting in the gray room. Paints, brushes, and canvas boards were provided by management. There were also snacks. It’s been a long time since I have held a paint brush.
