ELLA was awake a lot in the night with intestinal distress. I convinced her that staying home and resting was advisable instead going to Grandies today.

GRANDIES

Anne, Sandra, and I were present today. The meeting was opened with prayer and a devotional message. We took about an hour and a half sorting  piles of greeting cards into stacks of the same kinds: i.e. birthday, anniversary, get well etcetera.  We played cards until one o’clock.

I CAME home to find that Ella had been unable to test. Instead she did laundry.
