- 2019 October 23 Wednesday in Liberty Hill, Texas
and clear overnight with a predicted high of 80° and an actual high of 85°.
e attended Grandies this morning. There was a good turnout considering how many were out sick.
s usual,we stayed and played canasta after the meeting.
fter Grandies some of us went to Golden Chick for lunch.
rom there Ella and I went to Home Depot in Cedar Park. I wanted 3 2x4s and a sheet of plywood. I wanted the plywood cut from 1 4×8 sheet to 2 2×8 sheets. This is a free service that that they offer. I ask a woman, with a home Depot orange apron. For help. She said she’d call someone. About 1/2 hi hour later I saw her speaking to a man in an orange apron. She nodded toward me. He glanced my way, saw me watching, and quickly averted his eyes and walked away. I waited another 1/2 hour while several more employees strolled past. I gave up and left. In the past I’ve always gotten good service at Home Depot, which makes this more disappointing.
hoir practice went well tonight. For me personally it could have been better if I hadn’t had a case of the burps. It is amazingly hard to sing while burping. Grin.
God bless and g’nite.
