With nowhere to go, we played many games of Fast Track between breakfast and lunch.
After lunch we took a nap. I also did some studying and writing for this coming Sunday’s Sunday school. I also made some notes on a sermon idea. And I added another devotion at the bottom of this blog and to my devotional blog. https//:musingsdevotions.WordPress.com
Ella did some laundry and I did some dishes – both in machines, not by hand.

I received and answered my post-covid-19 vaccination survey from the CDC.
There was also time for reading and watching TV. What a busy busy day (said sarcastically).

Around supper time we played a couple games of Rummikube.

This is a sunset photo. Almost as pretty as this morning’s sunrise photo, isn’t it?
Read: Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.
Think: For the Christian (and Jew) the proper scriptural order of respect is God, Others, Self. In my personal daily life do I follow these guiding principles? Or do I let my self-importance and self-will keep me from being the kind of person God expects, God commands me to be?
Pray: Forgive me, Lord, for times I have let my SELF get in the way of my duties to you and to others. With the Spirits guidance, help, and power I will become a good servant, carrying out my Lord’s instructions. Even more I seek to have the same heart and mindset of Jesus. Make it so, Lord. Make it so.
