Our Saturday was an uneventful day of rest.

Ella spent some time repotting her lilies.  I’m sure I must have done something but I can’t remember what. However, since I never left the apartment, I know where.

Read:  Romans 4:20-21.    And then, in the Promise of God, he did not hesitate out of distrust, but instead he was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, knowing most fully that whatever God has promised, he is also able to accomplish.

Think:  We sometimes make promises in good faith, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to keep. How wonderful it is that all that God promises he has done and will do.

Pray:  Most gracious and loving God, we rejoice in your promises. We accept as the psalmist wrote, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” (Psalms 89:34) We are thankful to know. “know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to (Your) purpose.” (Romans 8:28) All praise and glory are Your’s now and forever. Amen.
