There was almost a sun this morning. Everything was hidden by a cloudy haze. There is a large church building directly in front of us, on the other side of the toll road.

Being Sunday, we attended Sunday school and worship where I was liturgist.

Before we left the church church parking lot, I used the Dominos app to order pizza. We had just pulled into a spot at the store when a young man brought our pizza to us.

Since we were looking for a shady spot to sit and eat and it is Memorial Day weekend, we went to the Liberty Hill cemetery.
There were a lot of flags on graves. Lawncare workers were tidying up the mowing and edging

We had not finished our pizza when I received the notification that our grocery order was ready for pick up.
It took about a half hour to drive from the cemetery to Wal-Mart. We arrived and used the app to indicate our parking spot.
I wasn’t quite finished opening the back of the truck when the groceries arrived. Extremely fast service.

An ink sketch from television.

Read:  Romans 16:17.      Brothers and sisters, I urge you to watch out for those people who create divisions and who make others fall away from the Christian faith by teaching doctrine that is not the same as you have learned. Stay away from them.

Think:  I honestly believe that one of the Evil One’s greatest tricks is to get Christians to argue over minutia. This infighting keeps us from spreading the Good News and bringing new souls into the Kingdom of God.

Pray:  Father, I pray, “lead me not into temptation.” However, in my mind, I have always imagined those temptations to be ways of the world or of the flesh. However, these seemingly “small” temptations to prove ourselves right or others wrong can be so devastating to the work of Christ’s disciples. Forgive me. Deliver me from the tricks of the Enemy. Amen.
