TOM AND ELLA JOURNAL

2021 June 27

Sunday school at 9:00 and worship at 19:00.
Lunch was at Blue Corn Harvest in Leander. Ella had pan fried catfish and I had chicken fried chicken.
My supper consisted of a cantaloupe smoothy and cereal topped with dried fruits and almonds
We attended a meeting of the residents of the apartment complex. The stated purpose was to join us into a community and establish some committees to welcome new people, gardening, etcetera. The meeting started to drift toward a complaint session about problems with the infrastructure and management. Thankfully, for the most part, we got back on topic – I think. It became so loud with so many people talking over each other and the echoes that I gave up trying to hear and understand anything.
The meeting had just begun when someone fell outside on the patio between the meeting room and the swimming pool. Leander Fire and EMS arrived shortly thereafter. The person was taken away on a stretcher. I have no more information at this time.
