Day.      71⁰     Mostly cloudy this morning then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog this morning. Highs in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Night.  55⁰     Mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows around 60. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

The Santa set didn’t open until 11 o’clock. However, when we arrived slightly before 10, there was already a long line of people waiting. By the time Santa arrived at 11, there must have been at least 50 people (Parents and kids) waiting.
We started moving them through at a pretty good clip. I try to make sure that each child has a pleasant experience without spending as much time with them as I can earlier in the season. By 1:30 we had only a couple groups left in line. When Santa’s switched at two, the line was beginning to grow again..

IHOP was our first stop after work. Even a short day can be very taxing and neither out us felt like cooking. All I had was pancakes with butter and a very little amount of syrup. Ella had French toast with bananas and strawberries.

The threat level has moved from orange to red, from high risk to very high risk. That’s not the way I’ve been praying for the threat to move.

UPS was the second stop. We had gifts that needed sent to family in Iowa. Obviously they will not arrive By Christmas.

And goodnight!
