Our last breakfast at Hampton Inn. Our mini vacation is over.
We checked out of Hampton Inn and went to our apartment to unload clothes etcetera from the wagon.
Then we put the wagon back in the car and went to Hill Country Community Ministries for our monthly food allotment. Once home we pulled a wagon load of food to the apartment. The excess food went back into the wagon and taken to the in house food pantry.
The shower in our apartment was not done when we arrived home. Done or not, we are home
This is not a modern version of “The Last Supper”. This is today’s Coffee With Friends.
There must be something in the coffee today ’cause everybody seemed to be on the rampage about one thing or another.
Not feeling rampagey myself, I didn’t stay long.
The shower and floor are all done. The floor may be walked on but can’t use the shower today.
Since we had a protein dense breakfast we had a vegetarian lunch. Rice, cauliflower, and celery root pressure cooked and mashed together. I had mine with soy sauce. Ella had hers with butter.
We spent two hours playing Mexican train dominoes and didn’t get half way through the series with double 12s. It was fun for a while and then became tedious. Several players had already walked away before seven o’clock when I said that I was done. Ella said she was too and then everyone else also decided it was time to close it down.
