Playing Fast Track and being trounced by my loving wife.

The map doesn’t do justice to the curves and hills along this drive through the Texas Hill Country.

I received an email from my car (ain’t that weird?) telling me that my battery was getting low. So we went for a long drive to make sure the battery got a good charge. We’ve been doing a lot of short trips lately that haven’t given the battery enough juice to replenish from all of those startups.

I had put our lunch in the instant pot before we went on our drive. So, when we returned home, we had Hamburger steak and potatoes cooked in mushroom gravy, green beans and baked apples for lunch.

Monday evening at five o’clock we have various games at the apartments. Today Ella and I learned a new game, Triominos. It was fun and I would (will) play it again. The person who brought the game (sorry, I don’t remember her name) said that she had a whole closet full of games but no one with whom to play. If I had been thinking, I’d have invited her to Over The Hill Gang on Thursdays.
