Bacon, egg over easy, on sourdough toast, with pico de gallo, a fried plantain with honey, and a nice juicy plum: that’s what’s for breakfast this morning.

That red and yellow mottled fruit next to the banana is one of the plums we received yesterday. Can’t say as how I’ve ever seen one like it before. The flesh is nearly white with a reddish ring near the skin. The ring reminds me of the smoke ring on a fine piece of true barbeque.

Being Wednesday, we went to Grandies. Nothing much to report. Anne, Ella and I were the whole group. We played canasta after the meeting and Ella was the big winner.
On the way to Grandies, we stopped at HEB to purchase ten pounds of ground beef for Over The Hill. After Grandies we went to OTHG to prepare tomorrows lunch.

Ella made ice tea for tomorrow (both sweet and unsweetened). She also mixed up some garlic butter and spread it on the loaves for tomorrow. We will today it in the morning.

I peeled a lot of English style cucumbers and cubed them. They were them mixed together with grape tomatoes and a creamy mayonnaise and sour cream dressing.

That ten pounds of ground beef became a very meaty spaghetti sauce. Spaghetti to be cooked in the morning.
It was about the 3:30 when we finished up at Over The Hill. On the way home we bought a few groceries for home.
