We told John and Dawn that we would treat them to breakfast. They took us to the Northside Diner in Centerville. Ella was going to use her credit card. This is a card that has her earnings from working the camera during Christmas and Easter. While I was in the restroom, the bill came and she gave them the card, but it was declined. John went ahead and paid it. “The best laid plans of mice and men.” (Robert Burns)
We left John and Dawn’s at 1:43 on Sunday afternoon and drove the fifty miles to Linnea and Rob’s. We arrived at three.
We did very little other than watch television until bedtime.
