We know from James 1:13 that
God does not tempt us to sin.
If a comma is inserted after ‘us’
(And lead us, not into temptation.)
Then the meaning is for God to lead
us and not allow us to be tempted.
Along with leading us toward good,
we understand that we are asking
God to lead us away from evil.

IT is five minutes before the start of worship and some are in their seats. And some are still visiting around the coffee bar.

POTLUCK

EVERY month that has a 5th Sunday (4 times a year) our church hosts a potluck. We have some excellent cooks in our congregation. That makes these Fifth Sunday Potlucks extra special.
