We’re together weird together is Ella and my new motto.

AFTER letting Truck out to go potty. Then after fixing and eating breakfast we brought Truck back inside. We then loaded into the car and headed toward home.

I HAD failed to bring my INR test kit in with me to the kid’s.. I needed to stop and check my INR today. It was at 1.7 which is a little on the low side.

WHILE we were at the apartments we even had a few minutes to visit with the people at the coffee table. They were eating pineapple upsidedown cake

THEN we went to the community cupboard to look for some kind of dessert because Ella had forgotten to bring the dessert that she fixed yesterday for today. She picked up a pineapple upsidedown cake. What are the odds?

OVER THE HILL GANG

Ella and I arrived early because I thought that this was one of the Thursdays what’s Gary Spivey brought us more history of Liberty Hill and environs. I was wrong. It’s two weeks away. Being the first Thursday of the month we had our traditional lunch of fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, a vegetable, and fruit. The first Thursday is also when we have cake and ice cream to celebrate the birthdays for that month. After lunch we played games. I played 5 Crowns and Ella played bingo. There were other games and conversations also.

ONCE we were done with our games we went to Betty John’s apartment to haul away the aluminum cans that she had been collecting for donation to Grandies monthly can collection on the first Sunday of the month. She had seven or eight bags of aluminum cans for the recycler. We took them to our apartment  where we will crush them to save space in the apartment and the vehicle. We already have a couple of large bags of crushed cans at home. Depending on what we collect this coming Sunday, we may be ready to take them to the recycler next Monday or Tuesday.

ELLA stayed at the apartments so that she could call bingo for the residents tonight. I went on to the kids so I could let Truck the dog outside. Rather than having me drive back to the apartment and then back to the kids house tonight, Ella will stay home and sleep in here own bed. I will stay with truck tonight and go retrieve Ella tomorrow morning.
