2023 June 04 Sunday in Round Rock Texas

BECAUSE it was Sunday morning our alarms went off at 6:00. We got up cleaned up dressed up ate up and we’re on our way by 7:15. By 4:45:00 we arrived at the church. Fortunately we both have keys to get in before 8:00.
ELLA got busy getting the coffee bar set up for the morning.
I WENT up to the F.R.O.G. classroom and begin setting up the video feed for today’s lesson. I made notes, reread the the section of Hebrews that we are studying for today, I also did some study from other books of the Bible. I also had time to thumb through the hymnal and sing some of the songs to myself.

THE class members began arriving before the nine o’clock start time though some of them habitually come a little after nine. At nine I opened with a prayer found in our study material for the book of Hebrews. Then I asked for volunteers to read portions from the book of Hebrews. I initiated discussion or what was read. Then the video was played and as the presenter asked questions I paused the video and we discussed the questions.

I WAS going to post a link to today’s Sermon by pastor Michele. But the link doesn’t seemed to be working at the moment

DIRECTLY after worship we began loading our car with non perishable food, clothing, household items, and aluminum cans. At noon we closed everything up and headed into Cedar Park and Walmart/Murphy to fill up with gasoline. From there it was back to Adam’s.

BEFORE we got out the door this morning we discovered that Truck had left a “present” on the dining room floor. We flushed away the evidence and continued on our way to church

ABOUT 5:00 this afternoon Truck decided he wanted to rough-house with me. I however did not want to rough-house with him. I had to forcibly hold him down. Which maybe was what he wanted. Maybe I needed to prove my status as alpha male.. So to give him something else to do other than pester me I took him outside. And he ran and ran and ran like he had a bug up his butt. Now he’s just laying here. Maybe he just needed to burn off some extra energy. Maybe he misses the younger Williams men who will do more rough play with him.
