Over The Hill Gang

WE arrived at the OTHG building at around 9:30. We said Hi to the “kids” at the Our Village special needs care facility that shares the building with OTHG. I added 4 pounds of frozen pulled pork to the freezer. I then sent a message to Jannett and Merle so they’d know about the additional meat.

GRANDIES

Anne, Ella, and I were the only ones there this week. Anne will be on vacation for the next two weeks. We completed the meeting and played canasta until twelve-thirty or so.

Operation Liberty Hill

As we were leaving Cross Tracks Church this afternoon, we loaded the donations to the Kids’ Summer Snack Program into our car and took them to Operation Liberty Hill.

ARIK came over this afternoon bringing some cookies he purchased in Japan. The cookies are good. Hearing his experiences in Japan were better. He also helped reattach the oven door where I had accidently disconnected one hinge.

NOW that the oven was once again usable, Ella made a peach cobbler to take to Over The Hill Gang tomorrow.
