TODAY started off looking very beautiful. It was only 73°, so I opened the outside door and let some of that freshness in.
COFFEE AT THE HILLS: Ella, Fran Sandy, and I The table talk was about experiences with healthcare professionals. Ella and I left at 9:40 to go get produce at ACC.
PRODUCE AT AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE: We scored 3 peaches, 2 nectarines, 2 plums, 10 potatoes, 10 sweet potatoes, an ear of corn, a watermelon, a loaf of bread and a half gallon of milk 1%. The big change is that we no longer pull up in our vehicles and they load the things into the back of the car. Now we get out and stand in line and go through and pick out the specific things that we want. I suppose that works out well for the employees or volunteers but it’s kind of hard on us old people who neither walk nor stand very well.

PRODUCE AT CHURCH OF CHRIST: We arrived at one o’clock and we’re done by about one-thirty. We received black beans, rice, macaroni, oatmeal, tuna, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, carrots, and peppers that we had no need of. Those were donated to the in house food pantry at the apartments. There were about a dozen canned goods that we kept. Also potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, plums, a carton of shelf stable milk, and two pounds of frozen ground beef

MEXICAN TRAIN: My bride and I went to the community room to play Mexican Train dominos. There were two tables with five or six players each. After a couple of rounds I excused myself and came home. I occasionally have symptoms much like spastic colon or irritable bowel syndrome. When I have lower abdominal pains, experience has shown that I should locate the nearest restroom posthaste.
