NEWS: 1. French police recently made arrests in connection to a heist at the Louvre in which $100M worth of jewels were stolen. The thieves used a furniture lift and power tools to break in through a first-floor window in broad daylight and made off with artifacts including pieces of the French crown jewels. Only a small percentage of stolen jewelry is usually recovered, as it is often melted down or sold discreetly at a high price.

2. Donald Trump is currently on a trip to Asia. During the trip, he has brokered peace deals and secured trade agreements with several countries.

VERSE:  Galatians 6:2, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ,”

COMMENT:  Here, Paul urges believers to fulfill the law of Christ by carrying each other’s burdens. This emphasizes the importance of community and interconnectedness among believers. We are called to sacrificially serve others and bear each other’s burdens, just as He did for us. In doing so, we not only fulfill the law of love that Christ taught, but also demonstrate our faith and obedience to Him.
