🟢A female cardinal in the early morning sunlight.
I could hear a wren but couldn’t see her/him until later when I saw a pair of them chasing each around on the neighbor’s roof.

🟢 BREAKFAST: It is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and my go-to choice is a classic combination of egg, sausage, and toast. The simplicity of this meal is what makes it so satisfying, and I especially love the way the molten gold from the perfectly cooked egg cascades over the juicy sausage and crispy toast. The visual appeal of this breakfast is undeniable, with its vibrant colors and contrasting textures.
But beyond its appearance, each component brings its own unique flavor to the dish. The rich and creamy yolk of the egg compliments the savory flavor of the sausage, while the crispy toast provides a satisfying crunch in this open-face breakfast sandwich.
Together, they create a harmonious balance of flavors that never fails to satisfy my taste buds. This breakfast is not only delicious but also provides a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats to start my day off on the right foot. Overall, nothing beats a hearty and delicious breakfast like this combination of egg, sausage, and toast.

🟢 ROLLERATOR: We went to Hills at Leander to play cards this evening. Someone had thrown away this rollerator (Walker on wheels). I had ordered one this week that should arrive on Wednesday. It is for me. I can’t stand very long at all and these have seats. I brought the discarded one home.
Two of the four wheels are shedding the rubber which means it will not roll. I can replace those wheels for about fifteen dollars. Now we will have two. One for me and one for Ella.
🟢 CANASTA: We had three teams of two playing cards tonight. Ella and I were far behind the other two teams…until the last hand. We ended up winning.
🟢 DID YOU KNOW: The banana we lookeat are not fruits but berries and the plant they grow on is not a tree but a herb.
