Heavenly fireworks mostly obscured by clouds pregnant with moisture. Wind denied the rain a gentle fall to earth, instead drove it hard into anything that dared to stand against it. Once the storm had had its way, it gave way to the sun which brought its to a steamy eighty degrees.ross Tracks Church once again broadcast live segments online. Music, readings, prayers, and sermon, followed by more prayer and a benediction.ur Sunday school class gathered online as well. We, however, never received the link that would heave allowed it’s to participate. We will try again next week.ur lunch on this Resurrection Sunday was smoked and grilled sausage, hashbrowns topped with cheddar, sliced mushrooms, and peas. Dessert followed of apple pie with whipped topping.captured copious amounts of water. With a nylon screen over the top, entry was denied to leaves and twigs, seeking shelter from the storm. Finer grit, with true grit, forced its way through the mesh. Though now it lies drowned at the bottom of the water. With gentle dipping from the top, gravity should hold its tiny captives bound at the bottom.Big and bright and kicking out heat. Who would be so bold as to call this “the dying of the light”? (“Do not go gentle into that good night” )Whether it has gone gently, I can not say. However, gone it is, until this spinning top, on which we ride, returns it once more to the eastern sky.
