Welcome to our daily journal. Share it with a friend. www.TomAndEllaJournal.comAudio journal https://www.spreaker.com/user/12220003ach morning has been slightly warmer than the preceding day. This has been a good thing. However, as all good things go, it can be carried too far. Once it reaches the mid sixties, as far as I’m concerned, it can cease becoming warmer each day.hese power poles are a distraction. However, they also add some visual context. Whereas, if I crop them out of the photograph, the image of the sun becomes less interesting. And, considering how boring it was before, less is not more in this photograph..he groundskeepers were out and working early this morning. Many here at the Stocktank have no jobs to go to during this time of isolation. The sound of mowers and trimmers outside their bedroom windows might have been unwelcome. Yeah, let’s say, unwelcome. Thanks to the Bisquick in yesterday’s care package. Sorry that the picture came so late in the meal.esterday I added padding to the tailgate. It is so much easier on old knees. Got to keep mosquitos and other buzzing pests out. Besides, it’s just cool to have screen, right?.While I was playing in my “clubhouse” Ella was busy doing laundry. And, lest to think I had no hand in the laundry, I carried Manny loads of rainwater into the house. The water was brought to a near boil, then carefully carried down the deck steps and poured into the ice chests which we are using for laundry tubs. This scenario was repeated until the formerly cold water was brought to a warmth pleasant to the hands. I also did a small amount of sloshing the clothes about and hand wringing. Not as much as my bride, it’s true, but some..The clothes were all washed and hung in the sun and breeze to dry. It was approaching one thirty and I hadn’t started any lunch. Previously, it had been decided to venture to the local grocery for milk and eggs. With a trip to town already decided, a drive through Golden Chick seemed to settle the question of lunch.pon returning home, it was time to recline and let the breezes flow across our weary bodies.
