In Liberty Hill, Texas
Welcome to our daily journal. Share it with your friends.A new morning video – much better than yesterday’sA nice cool start for the day. It didn’t stay nice and cool. It reached eighty two in the early afternoon. But it was still a pleasant day to sit outside. I don’t know what out would have been to work in the bright sunshine, but as I said it was a pleasant for sitting in the shade. I’m getting pretty good at that, given a chance.Gluten free pancakes for breakfast. Not because I wanted gluten free pancakes, but because that was the only pancake mix I could find. They are the same brand that we normally buy. However, the regular mix has everything in it except the water. These need milk and egg in addition to the water. The mix was not only more expensive ounce for ounce but also required more ingredients Not a good deal at all. If I must add extra ingredients, I might as well start from scratch and save the cost of the mix.For lunch I dug around in the freezer and found the leftover roast with potatoes and carrots. Dropped it in the Instapot with some corn, beans, peas, and tomato sauce. It made a quick stew which we sat outside to eat..I had two hopes for today’s chores. My order of Sterilite drawers from Wal-Mart were due today. My DoubleBubble roll of insulation was also due todayThis morning I received an email message saying that I will be notify WHEN THE DRAWERS SHIP.It is after five as I write this and the insulation has not arrived either. But Amazon still claims it will arrive via USPS by eight this evening. (It is now after eight)So, at best, it will be a project for tomorrow. Thanks again for stopping by. See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. We love you.
- God bless and g’day.
