Welcome to our daily journal. Share it with your friends.I went to sleep last night laying on top of the covers. Around four this morning I woke and was chilled, so I finally crawled under the covers. After the thermometer readings we’ve had lately, I wasn’t expecting it to get so cool. Now don’t take that as a complaint. Out only an observation.We followed the same pattern as last Sunday. We got up, cleaned up, dressed up, and drove to Cross Tracks Church. There we sat in an empty parking lot and attended worship service online.

Pastor John Saint’s sermon, “No Trespassing” based on Acts 10:44-48 was one of his best sermons.

After worship was over, we connected with our adult Sunday school class via Zoom. I miss sitting in the same room with these folks. There are some sharp minds here that always give me some new thoughts to chew on.While we were still in the church parking lot, Adam called to wish Ella a happy Mother’s day. He said that the family were going to walk to a nearby county park. Well, nearby for them … far far away, if I had to walk it.At any rate, we drive through a local chicken place and grabbed food to go. The to go place we had in mind was the park to which they hiked. As we got closer, Ella called to find out where they were. Where they were was home.We took our lunch and went to their home, where we sat out on the patio and visited, while maintaining proper distances.I took a long twisted circuit home, just to make sure the truck battery had plenty of time to reach full charge. We made a stop for gasoline anus one for bread. The remainder of our day was spent relaxing at home.Thanks again for stopping by. See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. We love you.
