Monday
Stay cool.
Welcome, family and friends to our daily journal. Share it with your friends.
I see you, Mister Sol. Did you think to take a sneak peak over the horizon? It is still night time. Not your time. Not yet. Just slide back down the track for an hour or two. Please!
Not going to do it, are you? What’s that you say? The weatherman ordered 110°, and you’ve got to get a head start? Okay, go ahead. But don’t expect me to say, “Good luck.”
I made a little something extra for breakfast. In addition to the usual bacon, egg, and biscuit, I sliced and fried an apple. Sprinkled It with cinnamon and brown sugar.
I have left our name and number with the RV repair service. I left a message explaining what is happening with the circuit breaker, when the RV air conditioner is started. In the mean time, the two portable a/c units are keeping our little home livable, though not entirely cool. The bedroom becomes right down frosty by morning though it struggles during the day. The a/c unit in the living room keeps us comfortable in our recliners, as it blows directly onto us there. However, anywhere not directly in the path of the blower, seems only marginally cooled.
This has been another day in the series that I’m calling “But we haven’t done a bloody thing all day.” If you don’t get the reference, ask Uncle Albert.*
…See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. Remember, we love you.
- God bless and g‘day.
