Be safe – Be Considerate – Wear A Mask

Welcome, family and friends to our daily journal. Share it with your friends

Venus the most feminine of the wanderering stars in the early morning sky. Ain’t she pretty? Our sister planet. But But does she call or write. Nope. She seems so inhospitable that we’d rather visit Mars.Several countries and Elon Musk are planning manned expeditions. But those in the know, know John Carter of America beat them to it two centuries ago.Anyway, isn’t Venus stunning in the pre-dawn sky?

The definition of planet, since the word was coined by the ancient Greeks, has included within its scope a wide range of celestial bodies. Greek astronomers employed the term asteres planetai (ἀστέρες πλανῆται), “wandering stars”, for star-like objects which apparently moved over the sky.
