Awash in whites, greys, and blue, rises the sun in golden hue. It was a bit of a lyrical morning.

I no longer see eye to eye with my glasses This morning, I called and made an appointment for an eye exam (really, they will check both eyes, but “eyes” exam sounds strange). And then, I hope, new glasses with which to see the world. Not rose colored though. I i eye eye aye aye, grammatical stuttering.
For an afternoon treat we drove through DQ. We weren’t alone in choosing this time this activity. It was double hearts (points) day, which may have had some bearing on the decision.
The predicted 30% chance for rain never materialized. The forecast high of 88° was surpassed by an actual high of 91°. It was still nice enough to spend a short time sitting out in the afternoon shade.
God bless and g‘day.
