Friday Sneezin’ Season

at Linnea & Rob’s in Carlisle

Welcome, family and friends to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of connection for you.

We left Carlisle in the rain.

Iowa’s state capital building in Des Moines. And it’s still raining.

Lucas state office building which bourse the office of vital records.Which is where we had to go for copies of our birth and marriage records. Those are needed for us to get Texas drivers licenses. Then it was to Village Inn for lunch with no pie. Now that is almost criminal to not eat pie at Village Inn.

  • Roberta and Dani came by for a short visit in the late afternoon.
  • John came and got a pickup load of our stuff. He will start loading it into his fifth wheel trailer. There it’s still more to go.
  • Rob and Linnea came out, bringing the Nyquil and Dayquil that I left in their car. They also took the outdoor bench home with them.
  • I’ll ready for sleep. I’ve taken a dose of Nyquil. Hopefully that will help me find my way to the Land of Nod.
  • God bless and g‘day.
