2021 April 02

Believe it or not the sun was shining. I just wasn’t in a place where I could capture that sunrise.

Yesterday, on our way to the Maundy Thursday service at Cross Tracks Church, we took some more items to Operation Liberty Hill. The more stuff we sort through, the more stuff we find that we don’t need, but that someone else might need.

We had our first Bluebonnet sighting today on North Bagdad/279 in Leander. These roadside beauties are welcomed as a sign that Spring has arrived in the Texas Hill Country. We took a long way home (a Grandpa Wilson shortcut) just to look for more of them. We found small patches of them but not the vast pastures for which we were hoping. It’s still early though. We will be going on more extended drives on backroads.

Ella had a follow up to last weeks doctor, visit this morning

Since Ella’s blood draw had to be done as “fasting”, we stopped at Sonic’s for breakfast. We then drove around aimlessly looking for flowers along the roadsides.

By bedtime I had only gone
1520 steps / 0.7 miles

Romans 15:13- May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER- Great and Mighty God, bless me with greater trust that you are nearby and long to help. Dear Father, bless and empower me to be the person you want me to be. Fill me with your Spirit so I may live my life here more like Jesus lived his life here on earth. In the name of the Savior I pray. Amen.    (written by Phil Ware.  phil@verseoftheday.com.)
