I woke this morning with a scratchy throat and itchy eyes. I felt like staying home. However the discussions on our Sunday school class is too important to me to miss.

Ella had a meeting after church so I went to the cat, rolled down the windows, drop the seat into full recline mode, and went to sleep.
Walgreens was the next stop. Ella had to go in and try to straighten out the mess they’ve made of her heart medicine. Again I slept.
Once home, I took a film of DayQuil (no Nyquil on hand) and went to bed.
To follow Jesus is to be inducted into our own humanity and his over time, in community. Life in Christ is a human catechism.
I roused myself out of bed long enough to fix pancakes for supper and to play one game of Fast Track before heading back to bed.
