We were there from 2:00 until 5:00

This location was diffenetly busier than the Lampasas location last week.

Santa and Mrs Claus saw dozens of children and many adults today. I asked the general manager if they normally had this many children. She replied, “Nope, it’s all you guys .” That means that their advertising about Santa worked.

The sun was low in the west as we left the Alamo Coffee. We had to go west into the sun. It was difficult to see where I was going part of the time. That is not comforting at all during the time when so many people are off work and on the road.

We stopped at IHOP for supper. We were still in our Christmas clothes and had one young man take a selfie with us. He’s sending the photo to his younger brother in Mexico.

We both finished our meals. Normally our evening meal is the lightest of the day. However, I was hungry and ordered the T-bone steak and eggs. That is 3 eggs and 3 pancakes with a very thin steak.
Once home, we wasted no time in shedding our Christmas garb.
