Day 74° mostly cloud in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. High as in the upper 70s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gas up to 30 mph. Night 48° partly cloudy with slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lowe’s in the mid-40s. South winds 10 to 15 mph becoming Northwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph after midnight.
ONCE again Google maps routed me off of 183a on to 45 over into the parmer express lane and then on to loop one it was very slow going even on that but I made it in time. There was also heavy fog in parts of it which accounted for why it was so slow. It took nearly an hour 59 minutes actually to get here this morning. I hope it takes a lot less than that to get home.
IT did take less, Thirty-two minutes driving time with a six minute stop for gasoline. I pulled into the drive at home and Ella came out, got in the car, and handed me a bacon, egg, and cheese English muffin. A half hour later we were at Cross Tracks Church in Liberty Hill.
GRANDIES lasted 9:40 to 12:06 during which time we prayed, read a devotion, shared what is happening in our lives and the lives of those around us, laughed, and played canasta.
ON the way home we stopped at Operation Liberty Hill to drop off lots of empty egg cartons and a donation check for $200 from the Grandies.
ONCE home Ella prepared a casserole of chicken, stuffing, and creamer of chicken soup. There were sides of both peas and pears.
THE rest of the day was uneventful.
